Big Creek Expeditions enlisted our help to look for answers as to why site visitors were not converting into paying customers. Was it the lack of updated imagery, the number of calls to action, or the overall design of the website? They also wanted to move their site away from Wordpress and to a faster, easier to use content management system. Since their site was built before mobile browsing was prevalent, they also wanted to update their design with a modern look that was fully responsive so it would display brilliantly any device. Lastly Big Creek was interested in refreshing their aging logo with a cleaner, stronger design.
After reviewing their web analytics and setting a base metric to work from we discovered a few potential culprits. Site visitors were jumping haphazardly throughout the website, clicking on the biggest calls to action, and ultimately not finding what they were looking for. This type of metric screams out organizational issues and the lack of a consistent user flow.
